I use OO, it's really slow on saving spreadsheets, but it's absolutely fine.

It took away my reason to crack M$ products..

open source software is more likely to be free of bugs and can work more efficiently. Plus it's free so you can use it on any computer.

It was the same thing when Linux first came out...it was opensource also and that's why it was so stable of an operating system.

open office crashed on me multiple times. Even though it does have a nice recovery similar to MS Office. But after about 2 weeks I went back to Office. It may work for some but wasn't reliable enough for me.

My MS office is free of bugs as far as i know. YEars on it and no errors.
