Recovering deleted data?
 

Wondering if there is anyway to recover some pics that I mistakenly deleted from my laptop over 2 weeks ago.

If you deleted them and your HD didn't overwrite that sector, which normally it wouldn't you can use programs like SmartUndelete to bring them back.

2 weeks ago? I would say you can forget about those, unless they are on a different HD with low activity...

A friend of mine tried Active@Undelete, and he said he found deleted data from back in 1998! I haven't really tried it myself yet.

Recover My files worked when I accidentally deleted some stuff

I have also used Recover My Files - great program. It didn't bring EVERYTHING back that I lost, but there were some interesting files that I forgot about from a few years ago. :winkwink:

i had the same problem and used Get Data Back from http://www.runtime.org/ and it worked like a charm.

There are many computer repair shops who can do it for you. It happened to me once a while back and for $80 I got my files back.

That program have saved my ass twice, but I still need to learn to take backups.... :Oh crap

As long as you don't over write the file... any good recovery program should do it.

Thanks guys, I tried a few programs but unfortunately the files are gone for good. :(

You can try taking it to a data loss centre, but it should cost huge $.
