I hope it doesn't go up for a least a few more years. Right now the weak dollar is good for the US economy. It makes our exports much more competitive at a time when we can use the help.

No, you just have to earn more Dollars if you live in Europe :)

As an american who'll be travelling in Europe all summer, I sure as hell hope so LOL!

Actually, it's climbed against the euro for 3 straight weeks now....and given the rising interest rate situation in the US, I think it will climb further. However, I highly doubt that (at least in this cycle) the dollar will come anywhere near its strength back in 2000.
