$250 US logo design contest, finishes Monday morning!
 

On Monday morning I have a deadline to ship a logo out to be printed on shirts, hats, and thongs. This logo will also be going on my softcore website.


A basic idea of the logo is this:

What I want is to have a logo where the fuel curve graph turns into the silhouette of a woman!

( the bottom half of the graph, and the numbers on the sides and bottom mean something so I was hoping we could leave them in, but maybe use a cool technical looking font )

What I think would be cool would be some sort of "technical" style drawing.

The name of the website, www.fuelcurves.com( not live ) must be displayed in the logo, and I believe the logo won't work without the fuel curve graph format.

I hope this gives you a good idea of sort of the design I am looking for. Then again, frequently when it comes to design work, I find I like the things I never thought of even more than the stuff my demented mind comes up with.


I need this done by Monday morning at the latest. Chances are, even if I don't like anything here, I will pick one and pay the person on Monday via epassporte or paypal.



( Remember, the logo needs to be able to go on a website, shirts, thongs, hats, and where ever else I can think of. )

Wasnt there a new rule regarding non top banner advertisers from holding contests here after May 1st. ?

Does this include design contests, or just cash program contests?


You mostly see cash programs or hosts in the top banner spots. Would it even make a designer money to spend $5,000 for a month of ads on here?

It was my main objection to the new rule but it was never addressed when the new rules were posted. Hence why I asked about it in your thread seeing it might get read by an admin.

Well, I'm going to say it's a good idea of you to ask, as it is a great excuse to bump this thread.

i believe design contests are allowed but don't quote me on it. It might be that they are supposed to be in the Sell Buy Forum as you are technically buying a logo.

Do you need specific numbers or any numbers would do in the graph? What about the crossing lines inside the graph, are they necessary?

I'm going to say no, not necessary. Do what you think would look cool, and what wouldn't look out of place on a t-shirt or hat.
