How Do You Confirm a City Wide Party???
 

So last year mardi gras was pretty phat in seattle, but there're rumors that because of the riots and shit that the cops are going to break up any gatherings this year. anyone got any ideas of how to find out whether it'll happen here or not this year?

Ring the cops and tell them your from a newspaper doing a story on the upcoming Mardi Gras.

If it's going to be as huge as you think then the cops wont be able to do a lot to stop it. They cant be everywhere at once

Ask the City's permit division. Usually, you would need a permit to hold events on city property. Unless its a rave =)
