    I need some tattoo help

I've been thinking of getting a new one. But I haven't been able to come up with something perfect.

The theme will be mountains or water. That's 2 of the mightiest things there are on this planet. Something that humans will never be able to tame.

    Give me some ideas

Dophins flying through space is a favorite of mine.
“Wolves which batten upon lambs, lambs consumed by wolves, the strong who immolate the weak, the weak victims of the strong: there you have Nature, there you have her intentions, there you have her scheme: a perpetual action and reaction, a host of vices, a host of virtues, in one word, a perfect equilibrium resulting from the equality of good and evil on earth.”

Tell that to your tattoo artist and find some pics that represent the idea you're trying to convey in your tattoo. Shop around for artists too to get a feel for guys you like and guys you don't like. You'll get the best work that way, plus you'll get exactly what you want. GFY isn't going to be much help bro. It's like going into a country western bar and asking who is better, Vanilla Ice or Hammer. Talk to a tattoo artist and you're going to get the best result.

        NickPapageorgio,

I know that GFY isn't a tattoo studio and I'm not asking for someone to come up with something.

But there's a lot of creative people here and people with tattoos. Bouncing ideas you know.

Most artists will draw stuff up for you if you tell them what you want. Keep looking around until you find someone who can draw up EXACTLY what you want and is on the same page as you.

I got my first last year (8 hour job) and waited that long because I never found anyone that had the same vision I did. When I met that guy and he drew it out for me and it was exactly what I had in my head... it was a deal.

Story about my tat... It portrays one of the stories of Buddha's life. In particular the one when the raging floods and heavy rain came and the Naga (protectors of Buddha and all things sacred, looks like a multi head serpent) crawled under Buddha, lifted him from the floods and covered his head so he did not get wet. My tat is an image of this with the waters raging around him as the Naga are rising up to protect him while Buddha sites in total calmness.

My tattoo artists is a hardcore Buddhist and believes all that goes with it. When he put it on my arm he told me it would protect me from harm. I got this tat in Thailand. 7 days later it was hit by the Tsunami. I was supposed to go to Phuket for Christmas but at the last minute came home to visit my family after having a discussion with my tattoo artists about the importance of family.

Not very time consuming at all. Couple of hours and you get to wear it for life and pain is just another form of pleasure

Everyone and their grandma is having tribals done, so that's out of the question and I'm not really a tribal kinda guy. Otherwise I found a pretty cool mountain tribal
