It's highway robbery at best.

I know...It's a "speciality item." Fuck that. No backpack/camera bag should cost this much money.

BUT.....It does hold all my camera gear, video camera, and laptop stuff pretty nicely....And it fits airline requirements for a carry on so I guess I can't complain too much. :glugglug

Are you actually happy with the kirkland brand (costco) double A batteries? They seem to burn out super fast with everything I use them in.

mkx 05-11-2005 02:07 PM

how much was the bag?

A lot. Don't know exactly but once I load it fully for the next trip, I'll let you know.

All I have to pull out is the laptop which fits in the very front pocket. Some airports also make you remove the video camera but that's no big deal either. I'm used to doing all that anyway but with a bag that was not designed as well.

I use them only for the flash and replace them after every shoot. I have yet to have a set go bad on me during a shoot....Plus....I got a case of them for Christmas. :winkwink:

Retails for $275.00 but I got it for about $230 + shipping on eBay.

seeric 05-11-2005 02:15 PM

yeah, tamrac makes some dope bags. i have a laptop bag from them. heavy duty and looks cool too. lots of extra little pockets and stuff too.

Big Red Machine 05-11-2005 02:29 PM

I think I'm going to look into buying that same bag. Its a pain in the ass with 2 hard cases, when 2 cameras will fit nicely into that bag.

Shooting_Manic 05-11-2005 03:09 PM

Nice bag... damn close to the same one I have.

You are soooo right though. They fuck you in the ass hard on price on those babys. Its a glorified backpack for god sakes.
