do TGP2's actually get bookmarkers?

I think the idea of TGP2 wont ever work

Just wondering cuz I dont see the visitor stats of these sites growing

From my very limited stats (thanks ISPrime!), yes they do get bookmarkers. Still trying to figure out a way to track them with any degree of accuracy though.

tgps with p=40 on ucj have bookmarkers it just depends how loyal they are.

That's the big question I've been asking. Sure some people will bookmark, but I can't see how they'll ever attain the level of bookmarkers that a regular, no BS, TGP will.

I also can't see how in the world one would pay $4 / minute just to browse porn when they could just signup for a paysite. But it happens.

People are paying $4/minute because they don't read the terms, they don't know they are paying $4 most of the times they think it's free.

People are bookmarking and visiting tgp2 sites because they haven't found any "normal" TGP sites. When people found a good TGP site he (or she) probably never visits the TGP2 site again.

I do not think so, it is just where they are looking for.
If you are on 56k6 modem, you'll be more than happy to get only 5 pics per gallery, as they load a lot faster. You can look at a lot of more TGP2 galleries in the same time you look at 1 TGP gallery.
Besides that, I think everybody will bookmark a'good' site sooner than a shitty site. If you have a shitty TGP site, you won't get bookmarkers, if you have a shitty TGP2 site, you won't them either.

You're right Naughty. A quality TGP2 site is better then a shitty TGP site.

But in the long term all visitors of TGP2 sites will find a quality TGP site and stop visiting the TGP2 site. It doesn't take much longer to load the 10 extra thumbnails (+/- 2Kb each).

A surfer still can scan the galleries quickly and download all the pictures if he/she likes the gallery. If somebody likes a gallery they want to download as much pictures as possible. That's way they stick by the normal TGP's when they finaly found these sites.

But before they found a TGP site there are enough options to make a sale with TGP2.

Ok my thought is that if TGP2's dont get enough bookmarkers then there is no point in listing new galleries. Why send NEW visitors that you get from trades/SEs/wherever to other people's galleries?

If they are not bookmarkers they wont come to your site again so why update the galleries at all. It's basically just CJ'ing in a more surfer friendly way.

So they (TGP2's) have been around a few months and there are only a few sites getting over 5k visitors per day. Maybe some bookmarkers, but not much.

It's getting there. TGP2 has only been going a few months, but already the numbers are encouraging. Less bandwidth, better click thrus and more creativity in the galleries.

The rest of them seem to be nothing more than CJ sites that list galleries with 5 pics and don't intend to build a solid traffic base, so they probably never will.

At the "TGP2 Brainstorm" in Las Vegas last month, a gathering of TGP2 webmasters, I was able to learn some very interesting things about TGP2, compare data, etc. and add to the information I had already gathered.

Here are some facts:

TGP2 is 5 months old now though most of the "larger" TGP2 webmasters only started 4 months ago. There are at least a few webmasters making between $8k-$10k/month from their TGP2s alone. How substantiated is this figure? TGP2Bucks.com is paying two webmasters over $6000/month each. So, I feel pretty DAMNED confident http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

TGP2 webmaster are heavily concentrated on how to make more money rather than how do I get to the top of a counter? If you want to play the Hits Counter game, shit, play TGP1, that is really fun! Right? If you want to make money, I think it is a LOT easier in TGP2 than TGP1.

The BOTTOM line is that a TGP2 makes 6x the money that a TGP1 does for the same number of hits. So, a 5k TGP2 makes the same money as a 30k TGP1.

WHO can make money from TGP2? What kind of webmaster can most easily make money in TGP2? Honestly, I think that mod-sized (10k-100k) experienced TGP1 webmasters make the ideal TGP2 webmaster. If you can start a TGP1 with 5k traffic tomorrow, then you understand enough to be able to start a TGP2 with 5k traffic tomorrow. A 5k TGP2 is the equivalent of a 30k TGP1 $-wise, which is quite a bit more difficult to start for most webmasters than a 5k TGP2.

About the bookmarkers, the answer is YES, they do. I have too many of them on my TGP1s and I am just SICK of the poor money I make with my TGP1s.
