Removing registrar lock? how long???

The domain is unlocked already, don't believe in what whois tells you cause it's outdated info most of the time.

ya but i tried transferring it and the acquiring registrar wont let me cuz the domain is locked..

EVEN when i check the WHOIS on network solutions itself, it says the domain is locked.
