JFK, I Fuckin' Love you, Man! (homage & pix)

Dear Julius,

A year ago this week I attended my first Adult show -- :)

I've been looking back over the last 12 months, at the pictures you've taken, and I realize what an amazing service you provide to all of us who call this insane and infectious industry ours.

I've met great people and made dear friends, but among them none are so distinguished for their warmth, kindness and generosity as you.

Your omnipresent camera, and the man who stands behind it, remind us -- every time you point and shoot our way -- that life is good, that tomorrow is another day, and that we take ourselves too seriously only at our peril.

Thank you SO much for doing what you do, and for being a part of my life -- my very memory -- for the last year -- :thumbsup

Here are some shots of you, from the shows we've attended together. This is what you look like when the camera leaves your eye...

Thanks, brother!

Its because of JFK that I no longer bring my own camera. Thanks for a great compilation of pics from the industry events, much appreciated.

You are very welcome!

And, as far as your chins are concerned, they're beautiful, Julius -- the more the merrier -- literally -- LOL.

Now... is there anything, we (as an industry, as your friends) can do to further encourage these exhibitionist tendencies you've been experiencing lately -- ? -- :) -- :1orglaugh -- :thumbsup

thunder99 05-30-2006 01:53 AM

It's so true.

I was watching him at the LSA's in Budapest and to see him work a room is something else.

It's rare to find someone who's just so very open, no bullshit, no fake smiles... just a guy who truly seems to love what he does and welcomes everyone.

We can all learn a lot from him.

PS I for one would love to know the story behind JFK/Furbar. I think it would make very interesting reading if someone sat down with him to do a thorough piece on how he managed to turn a hobby into a successful business.

WG

You know WG - that's exactly why my camera, although it's with me, it stays in the room. Not only is Jules at EVERY, I mean EVERY event - he and Sandie do a great job of updating fast. Most mornings after, you already have a sneek peek - whereas, some 2-3 months later, I still didn't unload the pics from the card.

Not only a great service but HUGE exposure for your 'persona', company, brand and program.

Thanks Jules & thanks Sandie! :thumbsup :thumbsup

I concur 100% my brother Jack.

I have been saying for an age that Julius's and FUBAR's real value will not become understood for generations, when we have a pictorial history of everything we did !!!

Love you and your work JFK !!!

:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Kevsh 05-30-2006 06:44 PM

Among a few other tips, JFK taught me how to use the seat rests on the flight home from Budapest (I got put up to Business class - lucky me, esp. for a 9-hour flight!).

tony286 05-30-2006 06:47 PM

he is a very cool guy

Tim 05-30-2006 06:51 PM

Keep up the good work Sir! :thumbsup

MaDalton 05-30-2006 06:57 PM

i can't say it enough - JFK was the one who told me to attend the Miami show in 2004 - and since then our business only went up. so - thanks again! :thumbsup
