    I need HARDWARE, 4 rackmount servers

    BUT I DONT NEED HOSTING!

    Where do you guys order your rackmounts from for co-location? I want something custom built with a competitive price but I don't need hosting.

    SPECS:

    3 - Dual Xeon 2.4 (min), 150gb, 2gb ram, 1gb nic
    1 - Xeon 2.4 (min), 300gb hotswap sata raid 0+1 with 2 drive spares, 1gb ram, 1gb nic

          don't mess with the dual xeons, I just built the following for a customer and man is it a killer

          Dual Opteron 244
          2048 ecc-reg pc3200
          4 x raptor 10k s-ata (raid-5 w/hotspare)
          3ware 9500 (128m cache)
          3u rackmount
          $1600

          that will beat the pants off any xeon you can build, check out www.chiefvalue.com if you really want cheap prices and great turnaround on orders.

                  Well as much as i would love to sell you one, when i need servers for my personal shit or my best clients, the highest qualtiy rackmount is made by supermicro. go to supermidro.com and poke around, everything you need is there. if you need more info, hit me up. can tell you where to get em off the shelf, if need be.
