    would you rather sell DVD's or memberships?

    Honestly as a surfer, I think I'd rather buy a DVD. What tends to sell better? Or do they sell about the same?

      Surfers can better buy memberships to good sites, some even ship you a free dvd when you signup or rebill ;)

              The same can and does apply to many websites out there. With a DVD however, there is only a 1 time fee and you can watch it as much as you like for the rest of your life...

                  DVD = shipping/drop shipping 3rd parties or fucking around

                  i don't understand the people saying a dvd is better.. a dvd is ~$20 and lasts an hour.. a membership, whilst being $25-$30 usually has days worth of viewing that you can down load and view later for the rest of your life just like a dvd...

                                  very true... it's more confidential for someone to pay for a site then have something delivered to the house..

                                      dvd doesn't have adware/spyware and a whole lot of other hassels of the internet.
                                      and you get to watch it on a tv screen, which is bigger.
                                      alot of people are ditching the internet because of the quick buck artists fucking things up.

                                          Porn is impulse buying and a consumer is not going to wait for his DVD to show up so he can rub one off. The web is instant gratification where a DVD is something you have to wait on. If a guy needs to rub one off, he needs to rub one off.

                                          If your talking value I think the web is still a better option as long as you can download the content and view it at your leisure.
