raiders got screwed
Well, just watched the refs make the worst call in NFL history and screw the raiders out of a win. . .
Go Rams! |
GO PATS! :-D
1.) the rule is even if he taps it back onto his hand; as long as its going forward for a tuck its still and incomplete pass ... the only way its a fumble is if he tucks it all the way and he brings it into his chest/body and then loses it 2.) Brady was trying to throw it; the ball hit his left hand because of how he was falling because of the hit 3.) if it was a bad call; i guess its karma biting the Raiders in the ass for having the same done to us a while back in 76 ;-) |

It was not the worst call in history by far. Also look at the NFL rule book, this was the correct call. I thought it was shit myself and hate seeing a game come down to a refs call BUT the Raiders can blame themselves for being in that situation to begin with. Also all the call did was let the pats keep the ball. The Raiders defense still had to go out and lose the game which they did. They can only blame themselves. Go Eagles and Steelers. ------------------ MogulEmail.com Set up mailing lists, collect emails, set up email protected sites and more. 100% free and instant activation. Get rich. |
I think it was Tom Landry who said this (not 100% sure) and I'm only paraphrasing...but if it comes down to bad calls causing you to lose the game you didn't deserve to win.

He didn't pass the ball and tucked it in. Then it was knocked out. Seems like a bad call.
Regardless, the Raiders blew it. They played it safe and that lost the game for them. |
Who gives a fuck about them
Raiders have Al Davis who's a dick head get rid of him and they are ok in my book Rams were always cursed in Anaheim so once they move thy both do better. Fuckem both |
oh well Ravens are still gonna do it http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

The way the explained it on TV the call was correct, but that doesn't make it right. As for them only giving the pats the ball back, I agree to a point. Their D should have stepped up and stopped them but had the call gone their way it wouldn't have mattered. A couple of kneel downs and the game would have been over.
Also as for the Ravens lets not forget a game earlier in the year against the Titans. Right at the end of the game the titans drove the field, and then they lined up and instead of spiking the ball McNair did a quartback sneak into the endzone. Only a Raven player touched McNair while he was trying to get back onside. The refs said that since the raven player touched mcnair that the play never happened. They got penealized half the distance and the play was redone. Only this time the ravens stopped them. So, basically, the Ravens won because they commited a penelty. In my opinion you should never get to win a game because you commited a penelty. If they don't commit that penelty they lose that game and wouldn't even be in the playoffs. anyway, I'm done bitching. . . |
