Anyone else have problems with your external burner not showing up? I have a new sony double layer burner and it "dissapears" after burning a disc - esp. with roxio. It dissapears from the main hardware list, roxio program, everything. I have to reboot to get it back...anyone else?

Went out and bought Pioneer DVD burner, returned it cause it didn't work and bought a Back-Pack DVD-burner. All is Well.
Went out and bought a Sony DVD burner, returned it cause it didn't work and bought Lite-On DVD burner. All is Well.
Bought a Toshiba DVD/Tape combo DVD player for sister and me. Her's broke completely and mine is little screwed up but playable. While my friend bought an Apex long as hell ago and still works like a charm.
Point of the story, name-brand electronic items sucks and always ended up returning for generic brands that perform flawlessly.Comment
