I dont get the way most webmaster try to promote their site
Why are they only promoting their sites on similar pages? Yes- that is the focusgroup, but if you want to open a computerstore, you dont buy a place beside another established computerstore.... you put it somewhere where the customers are, but nobody else advertice.
Then you say "I have links on humor sites" - so does many other webmasters. What does the guys buying your porn like? Cars, Tools and Money - think outside your fucking small 7" box and get som adspace there!!!! thats just my 2 http://www.gfyboard.com/images/icons/twocents.gif |
Have you ever had much success buying porn advertising on car, tool and money websites?

its difficult, but yes. But for the most part I build my own.
Example; I have made 9 SEO spyware/virus pages JUST to pull trafic to my "free softcore" sites. and from them I link to the hardcore |
Well, it's food for thought. Think outside the box.

If your theory is accurate, then why are Domino's and Pizza Hut across the street from eachother, gas stations in groups of 3 or 4 on intersections, and fast food joints lined up down two or three blocks all right next to one another.. ?

you wouldn't really know if your business is doing good if you don't let competition in. to be strategic is to find a place where your product will surely be sold. if thats' beside a similar store, then so be it.

Like i said - the focusgroup should be the same and there is no problem advertising on other adult sites - byt try to expand a little. As a rule of thumbs i TRY to get around 20% of the traffic from nonadult sites (to my nonnude and softcore sites) - and i usually end up with:
15% nonadult 60% adult 25% SE |
