HELP!!! Spamming Idiot Just Won't Stop!

Ok, so we all get spam, I've never been one to cry about it however this asshole is completely out of control. For the last 3 or 4 weeks I get over a hundered e-mails A DAY from this same idiot. They all have a link that leads to THIS PAGE. I've tried the "remove link" hundreds of times but this idiot keeps spamming me. Any ideas on how to get this guy shut down?

Alex 05-08-2005 06:21 PM

block his email.

xenigo 05-08-2005 06:25 PM

Tip: The "unsubscribe link" is really just a test to see if you're a living, breathing, human being. Once they confirm that their malings are reaching an actual person, the pour on the spam. Eyeballs are valuable, and of course they know you don't want to look at it. That's why they don't stop.

Unfortunate but true.

Spunky 05-08-2005 06:29 PM

Try spam arrest..works great

$5 submissions 05-08-2005 06:30 PM

I've been getting 50 spams a day as well, Spamarrest is looking like a good option right now.

Dildozer 05-08-2005 06:34 PM

That cocksucker is spamming the shit outta me as well, i'd love to see that fuck get aids

Thats really not true. Most mailers want to keep complaints down.

swedguy 05-08-2005 06:39 PM

Get a spam filter. SpamKiller works great for me.

Forward back all spam emails to:

- the owner of the program
- the ISP
- the credit card processor

And when you think it is enough, just continue forwarding....

Example: I forwarded this and variant about 100 times ; now I get none ... They probably shut him off... And if it is one of you immature pricks, well fuck you :1orglaugh

that's just silly. why would you advertise to people who don't want your product? it is a waste of resource and draws complaints.

FALSE. Most spammers will register new domains such as :

www.trey76kut.com

New accounts at 3.95/month and spam the shit out of it till the sky falls down :
Time to change domain and ISP.

So the key is hurt them in the wallet:
- Get them cancelled
- Prevent them from being able to receive payment

Sylver7 05-08-2005 06:51 PM

these are the programs that are paying out on the spam

slickcash
gammaecash
spacebling
smashbucks
convertfamily
brothersincash
blockboostercash

Spammers ARE killing the online business :2 cents:

you do realize sending emails to the spammer is pointless, right? the froms are almost always faked as well as the ip's they are sending from are not their own.

sonofsam 05-08-2005 06:52 PM

i get roughly 10-20 spam emails a day from this 1 spammer
who only uses .info domains

lol... i don't really mind... i just delete them as they come in

:2 cents:

There are plenty of legitimate mailers that are actually smart enough to honor their "remove links".

Fucking idiots like this guy could care less if the e-mail address is active or not, he'll just continue mailing his list whether or not the addresses are "live"!

Spammer?? I meant the program owner... The 1000's of emails I send are to the owners of the programs... If they feel OK with spam. they shouldn't mind my few thousand emails :winkwink:

And yes: DO NOT USE ANY REMOVE LINKS FROM SPAMMERS: you are confirming the existence and use of that email ( same goes with fax BTW )

Babaganoosh 05-08-2005 06:59 PM

Why isn't everyone using spamassassin? It'll block a huge percentage of your spam before you even download it.

So you're trying to imply that everyone that they mail wants their products? Everyone on this planet must want fake Rolex watches from CAHEK then, right? And Mr. Weedhead, what is the point of them not using double-opt in lists if they really do genuinely care if you don't want their mailings? Exactly my point, they don't care or else their unsubscribe links would actually work. And that would be the day I don't recieve any spam.

But I don't see that happening.

You don't think there are any spammers who use remove links to verify live addresses? You'd be very wrong.

I think this thread is just spam for fatpaychecks and the bulletproof host that page is on. :2 cents:

Interesting.

if they do, they suck at spamming.

smack 05-08-2005 08:28 PM

by the way, how do you people know so much about spam?

venus 05-08-2005 08:54 PM

there are a couple of ways to reduce your spam in general.
We run our own mail server and use the black hole lists to automatically block known spammers, this blocks most of the habitual spammers. the ones who do get through, like your guy, you can write the program he is spmming which is [email protected]
also view his header and write to the ISP where he is mailing from and to who ever is hosting his site, include the spam he sent and that he have tried to get it to stop.

Hornydog4cooter 05-08-2005 09:00 PM

Largely rumor. Most spammers don't use remove links, compliant mailers actually remove you. Guess that makes this dude a "lamer fuck".
