Many mothers are important in their children's lives and it's those mothers that the day is for. Raising a child to grow up happy, healthy and confident is more than spreading your legs.

If your mother never treated you as very special, then don't celebrate the day, but there's no need to knock it for those who wish to take 2 days out of the year to remember the sacrifices their parents made for them.
