Flash editing question

Ok,
I managed to get the files from the webmaster that screwed me over. I won't have a probleme setting up a new site.

But there is an opening page flash that at the last part displays the former domain name.

Can I edit this? And if so how and what do I use?

You can edit the Action at the last frame. It goes with the getURL command.

does it "display" the old domain name or does it "go to" the old domain name?

either way, you can edit it if you have the .fla file. if you only have .swf it won't be that easy...

Edit : yay! 100 :thumbsup

yea you would need the .fla to be able to edit what you want.

Didn't there used to be a swf extractor? I remember people ripping 2advanced back in the day.

The file I have is an swf.

And I just watched it again. It flashes the old domain name and it when it's over it goes to the old domain home page

there's still hope...

you can probably import the .swf into a new fla file, but that will limit your editing capabilities. it's possible you might not be able to edit the file the way you want.

you can find a swf extractor like net41 said, but there are limits to those things as well.

Show me the .swf? i can probably diagnose the situation better if i see it
