Video splitters

Is there an actual video splitting program fucking works as it's supposed to??

I've used two different programs now and both are corrupting the damn videos! Sometimes they work, but the majority of the time they spit out garbage... :helpme

what program are you currently using?

have you tried Vegas?

boilsoft.com av/mpeg/ect splitter

Well I usually do everything in Premiere and encode the clips thru that, but this guy needed a rush job so I threw all the files in Cleaner XL. But they need to be split up into 20 clips and these splitter program are corrupting all the files.

Try CBR encoding then it should work. But you prolly used VBR (which makes sense quality wise but the splitters have a hard time matching the audio to the video etc)

Video Charge is simple to use and does the trick for me.

Might check your system/ codecs, etc....
The BoilSoft splitter kicks ass.
I have used it for several years and have split over 300 hours of video x three and then some. It's especially good for busting up long videos into equally sized smaller parts. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a batch mode. But it's so dam fast there is not much waiting. It splits a 30 min video in less than a minute.

Seriously check your system for a missing codec, there was another thread here not long ago with someone with the same problem as you with the boilsoft, she had a missing codec i believe, worked great for her afterwards.

Cheers,
BV

Been using it since version 1.x.x.

The new PRO version is great. I love being able to pop a DVD in, rip it and encode it all in one shot.

Can't beat it for the $30 or so it costs.

I should probably sign up for their affilate program, I've referred a ton of people.

it is the only program I have found that does everything pertaining to video after the video has been rendered out...that way there is no need to go back into premiere
