I have a question

...for those of you that have four wheel drive vehicles...and a Tacoma in particular...how do they do in sand?

That depends on how you drive them, the conditions of the sand, and other factors such as tire width and air pressure.

Loose sand...standard issue tires on the Tacoma...I know that lower air pressure is the way to go and I know that one should attempt not to spin the wheels. I am assuming that what you are saying is...you can get one stuck in the sand.

I've been stuck in the sand many times with 4wd's because of doing stupid shit.

I wouldn't take a Tacoma through the sand dunes but if you are talking about beach driving....Just lower the air pressure a little and use some common sense when not on the wet sand.
