google adwords policies are retarded...
 

I called them today about having trouble with my ads not showing up for a certain keyword (my main most profitable keyword.) The keyword is the name of the site hence why it is so productive. I notice that it keeps getting taken down randomlly after a day or so, so I give them a ring. They tell me that my ad has been marked as "adult" and that my ad will only show for keywords that return a certain number of adult related results. This seems fair and logical, however my keyword returns 8 adult related sites out of the top 10. Also, if i search google with said keyword in qoutes for an exact match, 90% are porn/adult related.

does this make any sense to you? they tell me that:

"Search results that contain minimal adult sexual material will not display your ad. This helps you to better target your intended audience and to maintain the relevance of Google search results and advertisements for our users."

I can gaurantee this doesn't help me "target my intended audience." If the majority of the results returned for my keyword are adult related, wouldn't you think my ad is damn relevant?

I've yet to get another response since my reply, and will be calling back again soon if i do not receive one.
