Is google images traffic a lot worse then regular listings? a little worse? the same?
is it more difficult to convert?

Worse than regular google traffic for sure.

That all depends on who your promoting....

Some sponsors wont pay you for hits orginating from google images

If the hit originates in a frame the referall code is dropped and replaced by default code

there is no money to be made in SEO!

i'd say worse because they can get access to the pictures without your sales text etc

Save yourself money and redirect the Google image searches.
