What do you think about my new logo for tog.com (clothing brand)
I know i need to do some more work on it, but i thought i needed some feedback first

I don't get the shield, it doesn't seem to fit with the logo. Not sure what its supposed to be.

you should only focus on the font for this.
go with TOG and something simple around it... thats what stays. :D

I'm never harsh, but it's pretty horrible. I imagine TOG is going to be a high-end brand if you're using a shield? Put money into a good logo..

Make a contest on GFY for $250-$500; show some pictures of the clothing and where the logos will go, the size of them, and what kind of feel and what kind of clients you want to target / attract... and then let designers show you their contest entries..

And honestly you should offer $500 because you'll get a lot more entries to chose from, and you're likely investing a fair amount, so $500 for the company logo / branding of the company name, is definitely worth it.

you can actualy get a decent design made up fairly cheap at designoutpost.

I just made the logo in a few minutes. I know i should do more work on in and i own tog.com I just needed some feedback

So everything is done in ilustrator

make it stonger and more brief...and remove orange shadow, make new york tog with kinf of grotesk font ... (grotesk is font without serif..like arial or verdana). Success.. :thumbsup

sorry new york tag is grotesk ..heh..

This is a sans serif, but im going to do some more work on it. I defenently don't need a designer for this because i have done alot of work before and as i said i made the logo quick so...
