A real long-term registrar available new domain sector to start trolling now.

We have 2 surplus DRM .com's/.net's if anyone is feeling spicy:
DRMBILL.COM and .net
DRMBILLING.COM and .net

And now for the XPays recommended (S)troll through your registrar of choice at roughly a savings of 1000's of %'s from what the prices on these niche domains will be in 2-5 years. Definitely low risk and potentially high reward.

And let me say, I am privy to info on an experimental new thing that makes me a believer that this concept you see in movies that are set in the future is about to actually happen in the next 2 years with a high probability of commercial success.

And, I have already collected the following examples to exemplify that my money is where is my mouth is.

And, I hope you sign up now at http://XPays.com and promote our banana winning sites.

And, I hope we all bump this thread in 2-5 years and everyone toasts it.

Here is a sample smattering of the one's I got tonight:

1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM xxxholography.com
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM pornholograms.com
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM sexyholograms.com

1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM xholography.com
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_NET xholography.net
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM xholograph.com
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_NET xholograph.net
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_NET 3dholography.net
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_NET 3dholograms.net
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_NET freeholograms.net
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM coolholograms.com
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_COM iholograms.com
1 Year(s) @ $15.00 = $15.00 for Register_NET iholograms.net

Happy Trolling and Ignore Overture! Be prepared to sit and pay your renewals.

XPays 05-04-2005 02:27 AM

There are loads still available btw.

XPays 05-04-2005 02:30 AM

i learned to add the "m" domains to my (s)trolling thanks to taboo btw.

XPays 05-04-2005 02:34 AM

Are you a believer?

Can you imagine a 3d display with multiple points of view being used for things?

Rick Latona 05-04-2005 02:36 AM

Evan,

I'm sure you have enough domains to qualify for a Fabulous wholesale account. Let me know if you need a referral. You should only be paying 6.75 a year per domain. They are also the 3rd largest registrar so very safe.

i hacked into directnic and was too lazy to buy bulk directnic dollars on these. i appreciate the offer but after having several domains stolen from netsol a few years ago, and feeling safe at directnic nowadays, we are willing to pay a premium.

has anyone had any issues with security at http://fabulous.com/ ? site looks nice and i am phishing their domains for sale now- thanks!

Fabulous is a monster and used by most large portfolio holders. They pretty much dominate the sector. You simply can't beat their tools. My favorite is the permission based system that allows my staff to utilize some modification features and registration features but not all features so they can't transfer names out, etc. The owner of Fabulous.com also owns DarkBlue.com which I'm sure you have heard of and Roar.com which you may have heard of.

You may want to consider attending this show:
http://www.targetedtraffic.com/

I'll be there.

XPays 05-04-2005 03:01 AM

rick - did you see http://fiipowerbean.com ? that is the corp site of our upcoming first ever all natural flavored coffees. all other flavored coffees have a chemical aftertaste due to well the chemical solvents they use to adhere the flavor in the old fashioned coffee world.

check it out- the consumer site is under construction and our client has teas and cocoas and 30 flavors of coffee to start with (including a recurring option).

we will have the corp site continually updated and this is the first first upload so changes and additions etc will be rampant.

this is the most asked about deal we have for insertion into external mass traffic places and it may be something you will be interested in.

You are definately a San Francisco dude. That's an interesting concept. Send me samples! I think coffee is one niche I don't have any domains for.

Fabulous.com is great :thumbsup

Funny you bring up holography....I have a friend with a patent on this very subject and his idea and product is very interesting to say the least. His relates to a global problem of communication in multiple languages too.

hi! i am thinking of the star wars scene. i wish i had some rights to a patent in 3d holography because the applications are pretty eye-opening and will change a lot of the "standards" we know today. one of our clients introduced us to another of his clients who are 2 stoners in ny that thought it would be cool to play madden in 3d holographic form. the thing works and they already have 12 points of view figured out. virtual everything will never be the same and they expect 2 years until their invention is on the market.

i am very glad you saw this thread. the affiliate program will be at Essociate.com's ClickLogic.com very very soon. The flavor list will be online shortly. We have over 100 completed but there is a huge expense per flavor by the time you get the whole bean, grinds, packaging, sizing etc., so we will launch with 30 flavors and rotate in seasonal flavors.

Evan, you should check out Janet Murray's work -- she's at MIT now. I met her at IBM.

The problem with holography is -- it's optical.

Lots of other interesting technologies vying for ultimate dominion of 3D-Rep. -- :winkwink:

Well, as I see it, "holo" has already been terminally de-coupled from the actual methods and mechanisms of Holography by the popularization of the term in Star Trek, TNG -- namely, "holodeck".

The valiant commitment by the ST-TNG Exec. producers -- Piller, Berman & Echevarria -- to "plausible science" notwithstanding, pretty much nobody thinks of refraction and interferometry when they think about the holodeck, as depicted on the show. It may as well be a block box, in which Technology (behaving as "magic", in the AC Clarke sense) simply materializes physical truth. The fact that this is also the same show that brought us (that bane of Reverse Engineers) the Transporter, does NOT help.

In your case (and, if I were, as you are, interested in guessing jargon of the future), I would focus not on the branding of a technology which very few people really understand, anyway (even before the Holodeck eroded what little scientific clarity had ever been accorded to Holography, in the popular grasp, in the first place), but focus instead on the applications of holography, and the catchy descriptors to be fathomed there -- :2 cents:

it looks like the opinions are mixed so far, but if "holo****" domains become of significant value, i think the .net's will be better than average .net's because of the perceptions at play. the average .net is silver or bronze but in some niche's .net makes sense. i give this niche a decent shot at .net's being useful if the .net jives. so, say you have a 3d holography site that would be a network or community for example, the .net could be good.

i still am .com minded but i am picking up some .net's in this gamble for a few words that the .com was already taken. anytime i get a choice .com i always want the .net too btw.

zackly what i am thinking and it has worked for us more times than not.

when we sold pornstar.com (which we bought from pornstar clothing company a long time ago) the huge list of surrounding domains we reg'd years before helped a lot for example.

RM- that is a good translation of probably one of the most advanced posts I have ever read. In a few years though I bet that all of the jargon and science will be considered familiar.
