any star that faces court knows to cry the same song hoping that the jury or those accusing him will beleive it and realize that they are not going to get money from it. Just wait until he is free'd and see how fast he regains all his millions.

Jackson still owns many of the beatles songs and his own not too mention all the other shit. Just not going to happen that fast... oddly we never heard of his financial crisis a few months before the accusations. How the hell do you loose that much cash?

Yes we did hear of his financial crisis.. it was all over the news how he was broke.. he had to sell a watch or something.. he's borrowed against the beatles collection and therefore doesn't really own them... this must have been at least a year ago.

While it is probably true that he is several hundred million in debt (as has been reported) and while it is probably true that he has cash flow problems...it has been stated that the 2700 acre Neverland Ranch (as long as he manages to retain ownership)...subdivided is worth more than 1,000,000,000 plus. Yes that is one billion plus.

The same way Mike Tyson lost his money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just keep spending wayyyyyyy beyond what you earn, not "writing the fucking checks yourself" and giving "power of attorney" to some groupie friend of yours to take care of the bills. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

He still owns the Beatles catalog in partners with Sony. Sony is supposed to be doing a deal where they'll buy out a chunk of his shares and he'll still make $10 Mil a year off of it and get a lump sump of about $150 Mil to pay down his Bank of America loan and his legal fees.

So basically he will lose control of the Beatles song book. He already sold the portion that Sony owns a few years ago just to keep up with the bills :2 cents: As far as subdividing Neverland I think there is an enviromental issue there.

Semi-Retired-Dave 05-03-2005 08:53 PM

Looks like Bank Of America will be partners with Sony on a great catalog.
That is the main reason beatles and Jackson do not speak to each other. Michael bought the catalog and outbid the beatles.

:thumbsup to you. I was down for awhile...but I am getting out again now. Take the dogs to the beach...surf fish...fish in the bay...fish in the river...fish in the lakes. I am still looking for a boat with a cuddy cabin...of the right size...for the right price. Beautiful spring weather. Down the cold brews...and bar-b-que frequently. Been losing some money with stocks but nothing to be concerned over. It will go back up.
