I got another speeding ticket :(
 

I was doing 180@100 on Autobahn, police stopped me and I got a ticket for 350E. They wanted me to pay 700E but I said "don't be funny" and he decreases the fine to "only" 350 :1orglaugh

The funny part is that he had to write 10 tickets, 35E each. Gendarmerie have some funny limits and they cannot issue one ticket higher than 35E :1orglaugh :1orglaugh It took him like 20 minutes to finish and he was pretty pissed :)

Must be nice. Around here you would lose your license and would probably have to go to court.

BMW M3, the car is so fast that I was not even aware I was doing 180, when they stopped me I thought it was 140 or so

must be nice to go fast huh. we get tickets going 5 mph over the the 65 mph speed limit!

Wait... the autobahn has posted speed limits now? Or is that just in certain areas?

Autobahn is a word for "freeway" in german language. German language is used among few countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland etc and only Germany is the lucky country where they don't have the speed limits. I actually got my ticket in Austria.

He cannot give me 700E fine, there are special rules for that which he cannot cross so I laughed and told him to be reasonable. You must understand Gendarmerie here (it was not even a police) is very kind and polite here.

It was way too good to pass up. Glad you got a laugh from it.
