came home after a night away, turned on the computer that hosts my 'net connection and got a message that my harddrive status is 'bad-backup and replace'. Two days until there is anyone in the house that knows the first thing about the mechanics of a computer (I am just an end user that makes money to replace these things).

*sigh* times like these I really miss having a computer nerd living in the house.
