12clicks is a fucking clown AND A SCAMMER! Newbies, beware...
 

Ok, I have no idea why 12clicks started a thread calling me a scammer, so here it is, I'll post my beef with him.

Back in 2003 I started promoting Mojoclicks. When I hit the MINIMUM payout ($25) I didn't receive any check. After waiting 1 month and e-mailing them several times I decided to bring this to GFY. Here is my post:

12clicks told me he would send me the check and I, being a total newbie, believed him.

2 MONTHS after that first thread I still hadn't received the so I e-mailed them a couple more times, and I didn't receive any replies to my surprise. Once again I decided to bring it to the boards again, here is my thread:

Once again he came with some bullshit saying that I gave him the wrong address and that I didn't reply to any of his e-mails. He told me that he would pay what he owned me, again I'd like to point out that it was only $25 (you got that right ONLY twenty five dollars).

I waited a few months. The check never arrived. I gave up fighting as I was getting bashed time after time because it was only $25 dollars, I called it a learning experience and NEVER promoted ANYTHING 12clicks was involved with.

That's the whole story.

Now, 12clicks, please show me ANY kind of proof that you actually sent me that check. Anything at all.

You guys will notice that he has nothing against me. Not only that you'll probably notice that other people will say that 12clicks scammed them before. One guy even posted on one of those threads that being scammed by 12clicks is "kind of a right of passage" for newbies.

Tranza, with all due respect, $25 is a very minimal amount of money. I find it tough to believe he would short anyone that. I also think that you will do more harm to your own reputation starting new threads over it.

In concern with G3X, I merely pointed out the possibility of address issues for receiving things. I thought you said you never got the card. I don't have the energy to go back and look over past liasons however, so apologies.

There are lot's of program owners that would stiff thousands of small webmasters for small amounts of money. It all adds up in the end............. :2 cents: Then there's a bunch of ass kissers that get paid like clockwork and they will always come out to defend the program owner. I have seen it many times........

Cory, I DID get the card, the problem was with the card was not working (PIN number was incorrect and I couldn't change it). I don't have the e-mails I sent you here, but if you have on your machine you can check it out!

Maybe he didn't scam me, maybe he forgot or whatever. But as you can see I waited 2 months and he still claimed that he HADN'T sent me the check. I didn't want to go through the whole process again, of bashing him here at GFY, believing him, waiting a few more months, never receiving my check!

A grain of salt is too good for what ever 12clicks says... that being said tho, I still wouldn't be able to pick a side in this one.

Furthermore, and again with all due respect, there are many more scammers online attempting fraud against programs than I care to cite.

If you knew how much that actually cost you, you might see what I am saying. Imagine if large programs could cut down on fraud software cost, staff, etc. ? Where do you think that money would flow to logically? I doubt he is strategically pocketing $25 accounts for profits.

Okay now you're just being an out and out asshole with that statement. Speaking for myself I draw a MINIMAL cheque from one of 12click's programs for about the past 4 or 5 years now. Granted I'm paid like clockwork, but every time I've seen someone crying about not getting paid they are always exposed as breaking the rules in some way, without exception. No one is "paid to defend" 12clicks dude. Anyone who has met the man or had any kind of meaningful, direct dealings with him doesn't need to be paid to speak up on his behalf when someone is crying "cheater! cheater!" over a whopping $25 bucks.

Better to let it drop and go find a sponsor who you're happier with and leave it at that.
