Hey,
For the last 6 months me and my partner(Profesionnal SEO) have been working on top 5 listnings for almost 150 sex related keywords. We have estimated, that we can average anywhere from 2-6million SE hits/month. Now I got a few questions before I create my site.
Here's the sponsors I'll be promoting, and I will be focusing on "Pay Per Sign Up" programs. ($35-45)
-Siccash.com
-Platinumbucks.com
-Helmy.com
-TopBucks.com

I heard these programs are high converting because of the high quality sites, etc.

NOW..
My site is going to be a top list with 20 links.. of the best porn sites on the net, something like a review. Every site is going to have stars beside it, a small description. ON THE NEXT PAGE when you click on lets say teensex.com, there will be a preview of the pics(small gallery) and a very detailed description.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE CLICKTHRU RATE WOULD BE ON MY SITE?
WHAT RATIO'S CAN I GET FROM KEYWORDS SUCH AS:
teen sex
mature babes, etc..(no keywords with "free" in it)
How do you think those will convert..

HERE IS SOME CALCULATIONS:
4,000,000 UNIQUES/month
x 33% clickthru(?)
that Comes down to around 1,500,000 clicks
at a ratio of lets say 1:100 I get 15,000 signups. At a ratio of 1:200 I get 7,500 signups. What do you think my ratio would be? How many signups could I really make?

I do a similar types of sites...with no where near the kinda traffic you're talking about, but it really all depends on the site/sponsor. Some I convert 1:100 while others 1:500, some even worse or better...with pure SE traffic.

Some convert excellent while others are horrible. It's all trial and error...

How about ratio's? Clickthru ratio to sponsor?

geeez dude, that's IMPOSSIBLE to answer! YOU will have to build the site and try it all out up and down. NO ONE can answer you that. So get to work and signup with the sponsors and try. You have 4M/mo hits and you are asking if the site is even worth building? SURE it is. But it TOTALLY depends how you will filter that traffic and the send it to the sponsors (what ads you will be using and how). It's all trial and error.

And BTW, word "free" is a nice word. Filter folks that are searching for "free" and send them to a sponsor with free trials (check my signature) for example.

you're plan for the traffic is horrible.

... the only searchengines that will get you a decent amount of free traffic today are, altavista and google. and it´s just a question of time until they will no longer give away their traffic for free, as we all know CMGI is in big trouble and google also has trouble to pay for their 6000+ cluster fuck. It´s kinda hard to believe your numbers, you´d be lucky if you get something like 20k out of them per day ... anyway, you wanted to know some numbers.

you can expect to get a 30% clickoutratio, pretty easy because all the surfers gets is a bannerfarm (if you manage to hide your spider site). the other 70% will be victims of your console hell ... so sooner or later you´ll get 90% to your sponsors, by click or forced. as of signup ratios, you´ll be looking at anything between 1:600 - 1:1500 !!

personally you didnt convince me

I have 2 domains that have anywhere from #1 to # 5 ranking with several keywords on netscapesearch, aolsearch, msn, google, & hotbot & this only nets under 500 uniques a day..sometimes it's only 200 -300..

A #1 listing dont always produce the traffic..
It all depends on what keyword the surfers searching..

I would expect a conversion ratio of between 1:300 - 1:800 for reasonably targeted adult keywords. Of course it depends a lot on how you move the traffic from your site to your sponsors. If you hype your sponsors too much you'll get more click throughs, but the surfers expectations will be too high so your conversion ratio will be lower. If you don't hype the sponsor enough not enough people will click through. It also depends a lot on the language and country of origin of the traffic.

You can't get 200k per day from SE's unless you pay them for it.

It's even more difficult getting 200 from a single keyword..

The example I posted above only netted 16 uniques today...

My 500 or less uniques per day is my TOTAL SE traffic for ALL of the top5 listings..
all the other se traffic is like 4 to 6 hits per day for a variety of keywords..

I get hits for keywords that have nothing to do with adult or XXX..
I got a hit from an se with the keyword airfare..lol..Now, my site has nothing to do with airfare..lol

i live and die by search engines. personally i would bequeath them unto the powers of mr htaccess and send em straight to the sponsor cuz i would prob be prepaid for signups. you aint got that much traffic no damn way and if you have like what was already said it depends on the site you build and the time of day, and other astrological forces that are beyond your control.

To tell you the truth I am actually expecting much more traffic than mentioned and I really don't give a broken fuck about if you believe me or not. I have been working on developing many, many sites for the past 6 months MADE FOR THE ENGINES. I have 4 years experience in this field and I work with a team of the world's best SE optimizers. We have placed cheap sites in the top 5 for ages now. If you knew how to work the engines like us, you wouldn't be talking shit. I just don't appriciate that. I am not a experienced adult webmaster that's why was asking for some stats, so I can predict how much sales I can really get. To those people that gave me those stats, thank you. To the usual people that post shit on these boards, GFY.

I think its kind of weird you'd be smart enough to develop this massive traffic infusion and not have a clue about conversion ratios...but since you have a nice face....

Considering Google is a prime source of free traffic, maybe you need to ask your SE team to look at that problem?

Ya this site is not even done at the moment, I personally think it needs alot of modifications.. I have a better version of the site on my PC. Once again, Im not looking for your opinions.. but some of you seem like you dont wany anyone to succeed.
I KNOW people get 1:200 or less from SE traffic, and with my traffic that would be crazy. I never knew that you can make this much money in the adult biz, Im excited myself.. just dont know what the ratio's are in this biz, and clickthru rates.

Boy there is a lot of hostile people here http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif First of all I would say that the(G)thang is full of shit, but that doesn't mean we have to beat on him like a dog.

I personally get around 1:250 on SE traffic the last few months, and most of that traffic gets filtered to our own paysites, and then out to maxcash. And while 6 million hits a month are not possible in such a short time frame, I could easily see someone getting 100K-250K in a few months if they had the money to pay for it. You also want to make sure that those hits are looking for what you have to offer!!! I can show anyone here how to get 5 - 100 hits a day per keyword phrase, and it doesn't cost that much either. I think that the cost per URL is like $12. I submit a url each day, and I can count on getting at least 70 hits a week for that $12 investment, and with that traffic I do closer to 1:50 so I get a signup each week without fail. Here is an example, we have a set of keywords that rotate around so the searches change all the time since the pages are re-spidered every 48 hours:

the(G)thang if you can somehow pull that many hits out of the SE's then I would suggest that you don't waste your time sending traffic to someone else, why not send it to your own paysites ???? Ya, maybe I should think of creating my own paysite, although with all this SE stuff going on, I just don't have the time. I know most of you think, "wow.. 2-6 million this guy must be crazy" but as I said I really dont care. Its not 1 site, I will be re-directing tons of domains to 1 site. So the traffic will be filtered. I will have around 100 primary backlinks and 200 secondary backlinks. 40% of these should be from different domains.

I have constructed the best 120 teen/porn related keyword phrases to target

These get typed up about 6,615,698/month just in Overture
Overture has 5% (maximum) of market

these keys get typed up total of 132,313,960 per month by all internet users
If all goes well, once we have set everything up... after 3 months, we

I am really tired of explaining this to everyone, and I know sites that get much much more than what Im planning. Except these webmasters dont hang out on boards like these, as they don't have time to waste(YES THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME).

I actually did something simlar last week. I built 400,000 optimized sites and now this week im getting 4 million SE hits a day. Should i send this traffic to sponsors, or should i just put up free movies for them to download???

Google is the ONLY site you could even get close to the numbers you are talking about.
I have a listing of the top 400 sex search terms on Google.

According to Google - these get a total of almost exactly 2 million searches a day. However - the number is much lower - as google reports:

teen sex= sex teen = teen sex pics.

The reason Google is the only place you can get decent traffic is that all the other search engines put sponsored listings first. The difference between a number 1 and number 2 listing is huge. 1 and 5 is even bigger.

I have the top listing for about 40 of these already. I know how much traffic each of these gets by extrapolation. If I had the top listing for all 400 terms I would get about 200-400K a day is my guess.

The top 150 would be closer to 100 - 200K a day - IF YOU WERE #1. #5 would be closer to 20-40K. That would be about 600-800K a month. If you could get listed in the top 5 for all of them.

If you know antthing about google - you will know that they will eventually delete your pages if they are all forwarding to somewhere else. You may get away with it for a litttle while and !216.239 will only take you so far.

However, if you did know anything about google - you would know that submitting it is useless. But you may have been using submit in the generic sense - so I will let it slide http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

You obviously don't have the sites up yet - if you did you wouldn't need to ask. I know all the people that do have multiple good listings (not all by name, but at least by design) and I am pretty sure they would tell you the same thing. The one guy I do know that also does it does well, but no where near 5,000 sign ups a month.

I know lots of "professional SEOs". They are people that get paid to list other peoples sites high. If they could really do this on competitive terms - they would have been doing adult a long time ago. I can count the number of people that know google well enough to do this on two hands. It doesn't take them 6 months either.

Good luck, and to answer your question - depending on the keywords - anywhere between 80 - 1500:1.

You got a few points there but you really sound like a newbie who has time to waste on posting a nice reply. Thanks though. I mean, You realize that getting 5-10 million hits/month is achievable? I have been in this for a while, and I got HUGE amounts of traffic to Casino's.. Im not gonna talk #'s here, cause everyone will say BS again. I am aiming at #1, #2 spot right now for all the words im targetting. Like I said these words get typed up 150 million times in all major engines. So I should have no problem getting the amount of traffic Im aiming at. You know it, and I know it.. that it is achievable.. If you knew what to do to get such high rankings you wouldn't be saying too much.

don't take me as a smart ass neither i want to be rude, but if the things are as you say the SE brain behind such an attempt is not you,it's your partner. The only way to achive this numbers is by HEAVILY spamming the SEs and having such post on the no1 adult webmaster board is not advisable. I have spoken in the past with many "SE gurus" that do pretty well, but none can really jump from 0 and hit top listings in 2months in all the porn keywords. I don't think is possible for 100 reasons. Anyway, good luck in your attempt. You never know.

You're totally wrong right from the start.

You shouldn't count on x times the overture numbers. You better calculate with 1/x the amount instead - as the total you could get if you're #1 almost everywhere. Ask your SEO gurus why. You're mixing up searches with hits among a couple other things.
