Is the Playboy game for Xbox any good?
 

I just got an xbox and looking to get some games but fairly clueless. I like the simulation type games and I was looking at the Playboy one for the PC but thought I mineaswell get it for the xbox. So, any good?

the graphic is ugly and really not xbox-like. the splinter-cell coders should have made it - I am sure it would look great then :winkwink:

If you like or liked The Sims, you'll probably love it.

I've got a copy of it, but I'm not a Sims fan...so I can't even stick with it long enough to get into it.

It was good... for a while. But then it just got to monotonis... uhm... monaughtenis? It repeats itself to much.

Basically, you throw a party, impress some people, tell everyone to go home... go to the next level.

It loses it's appeal after a few levels of this. It's impossible to have a discussion go bad... it's impossible to not succeed at your goal. It's impossible to have a bad photoshoot even if you don't have the girl in the shot at all.

Rent it, you'll find it amusing... then bring it back knowing that you did everything you can do in the game even if you didn't go beyond a few levels.

What kind of games do you like Sarah? I've played everything that's been out in the past 2 months and a few that don't get released for another week or so.

Give me some idea as to what style games you like and I'll steer you in the right direction.

heard it really sucks

I rented it & played it once. It was fun for a little bit, but I wouldn't play it again. You wouldn't think nailing Playmates would get so boring.

I like tycoon/simulation games best but Halflife type stuff is good too.

Not much in the way of the tycoon games for XBox.

I love FPS shooters myself, so I can help you out there. Here's a few that have come out recently that are a lot of fun:

TimeSplitters:Future Perfect
Star Wars:Republic Commandos
Area 51 (lots of similarities to HL and HL2)
Project:Snowblind
Doom 3

Another one that's a blast to play is Midnight Club 3. I don't like racers, but this one has been sucking more time from me than the others.

checkout gamespot.com for good reviews of games.

It's available for XBox too, but a few years old. New version came about a month ago, and it's a great title.

all those games are boring and suck....never understood people who play games like The Sims...its just chattin.... :2 cents:
