Flash recording question
 

I need to record some flash work from a internet site.
What can I use to do it?

record? what do you mean?

I had a webmaster but he disappeared. I paid for the creation of a site and I want to download all the stuff on it.

But I have no access to the server. Since much is in flash I need to know how to copy it.

To my knowledge you need to be able to download the swf files. Once you do that there are ways of decompressing back to .fla

Ok, now how do I download them? Is there a particular software I need to use?

Only way i know of is ftp

Maybe someone out there has a better idea?

If I could ftp it would be easy. Even a total computer screw up like myself can do that.

Go to download.com and search for "offline browser". They download whole web sites, including graphics, flash, zips and everything else. They can be a little tricky to set up, but once you figure out the setup, they'll pull it down.
