TGP / LinkList Owners : target="_blank" or no when linking galleries/freesites?
 

I got into an argument with someone and they're saying its stupid to load up the sites in a new window because you shouldn't hijack their browser - and most people know how to right click and open in new window... (oh, and because thehun.com doesn't link to a new window either)

I'm saying that's fucking wrong, if I were a surfer I'd much rather click once, get a new window open, X that window out and still be at the same list in the same location without having to wait for it to load again.

I'm gonna agree with you there. Especially if you get a trade 1 in 5. :) You can scan the page and bookmark for later viewing...

I've seen it done both ways. As a surfer, I can open windows myself.

Having an argument about it is pretty funny though, lol.

I open all galleries/links right to paysite/trades into a new window. wouldnt think of doing it another way.

When I am looking for something and I click off a site for something, I just assume that it opens in a new window and when it doesnt I dont know how many times I have closed it and lost where I was.

I'm not allowed to open anything in a new window, why would/should TGP do it?

I think opening galleries in a new window is more surfer friendly... but then again it is my two cents worth :)
