I have a hard time trusting people with important things.

Makes it hard to get things done sometimes.

No one trusts me.. I'm a theif and a liar :)

I'm not going to mention who I trust because it may piss off those who think I trust them. :glugglug

What I will say is that there are levels of trust and very few people ever reach the top level. At the end of the day, the best best is what FuqALot has posted.

I'm lucky(?) I guess to have a few people who I have almost total trust in. I have even more I trust enough to do business with and a lot I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them. I've yet to be burnt badly so I guess I'm usually a good judge of character. I think I've only slipped up once in that respect and as I say it didn't burn me much and the lesson was learnt :)

As with you though I wont nme names - daft to burn any bridges for no reason, altough many seem to take the opposite view.

The level of trust with everyone varies with how important the subject is.

On reflection and after re-reading the original post that's a slightly different thing. In some areas I tend to be a perfectionist and as I know how I want something done will do it myself (even where I often don't need to). So like you it can cause problems sometimes - as my wife will testify :)

A different kind of trust though. As said above I trust a few people a lot as far as honesty goes and them keeping their word. However, I sometimes have trouble trusting people to do work that I can do myself as I don't trust other peoples abilities as much as my own.

Ya know, now that I've thought about it. If any of you were to drop by my home, I would keep one eye on you and one eye on my silverware. GFY is a lot of things, but a meeting place for honest businessmen (and women) is not one of them.

You just have to filter out who's who.

I have plenty of people I trust.. My partner, Steve LS & Shannon, Rochard, Eros and Sykkboy, Duke, Kevin & Alli from TopBucks, and plenty of others. I trust my friends or they wouldn't be my friends.

I haven't had to many problems with people in this business. I try not to bash anyone. But, I did get kinda screwed over a few weeks back, when the time is right I will bash'em every chance I get.

I would like to trust everyone. And I do at start. In my oppinion being honest is very important.
You can cheat me for 100 or 200e. But in long distance we together can make much more money as a honest partners. Am I right?
