Online Banking Passwords
 

So I log into my online banking account.

Tells me I need to create a new password, mine expired.
Odd, was good last week but maybe new month, new policy, passwords need to be reset, whatever.....

Create a new one.
TOO LONG it tells me

Do another one
STILL TOO LONG

I'm at 9 characters now, down from 11
Seems fishy, I call the bank

They say yep, passwords now have to be between 6-8 characters in size.

I say that's weird, cause my old 11 character one has to be a "bit" more secure than a new 8 character one might be....

New policy they say...

So much for tighter bank security i guess.

There was a cool article here about "Strongbox" passwords and security etc. Maybe I should send the link to the bank LOL
