Is it really so dead?

Ive jut been conducting some (ahem) research on Voyeur sites and must say in dissappointed in the quality of material. Little or low quality custom/X material, bad or unrealistic themes and many simply promiss a voyeur site and the user gets a shitty amateur members area.

Is theer anyone doing somethingcreative in this niche?

All those fake voyeur sites are so lame haha.

I think its very undersaturated; because of all these fake sites people get disappointed.

Isn't it illegal and dangerous to film real voyeur content?

I still do well on my voyeur stuff.

Of course but you would think they could make it more realistic. Hell you could use some cheap camera and bad lighting for that real feel.

content in the update is come really fucking rough amateur sitting showing a gaping puss to the camera with full lighting....maybe it cost $3-5 bargain basement for thsi set :))

Dude, Im doing something really exciting with Voyeur niche. Im working on it now. Its gonna be very very exciting. I wont go into to much detail here. But the long and short is Im converting a whole floor of a building to look like a hotel, Gym, Sunbeds, bedroom, shower etc etc. With contsantly updated content and 24hour webcams. Its going to really shake things up. There isnt going to be a site like this.

Im just working on it now, its still in the planning stage but is going to be the dogs bollocks

Just because a similar theme has been done before, doesnt meen a totally new angle on the same theme wont work again. Just like the facial niche, theres room for loads of different variations on the same theme.

But Im interested in the sites you know of that truly offer real 24hour watching, like a hotel, health club etc. The ones Ive seen so far havnt been great, but I havnt found many, if you could list a few for me that you know have been around for years to check out that would be great :thumbsup

Like I say, I cant go into to much at the moment, what we are planning is very new especialy for our target audiance which will be mainly UK traffic.

its not being done very well and so many have came and gone since 97' because they don't convert well... and they don't retain. no matter how entertaining and unique you think you are about to be, users aren't going to care. you are hung up on your ideas of what want to sell to people... rather than focusing on what people will buy.

The reason I make pay sites is often because I have the traffic and no where to send it. There is definatly a call for this type of site. I have the traffic already. Do you have alot of UK voyeur traffic, that makes you qualified to say this wont work?

A good site with some time and money spent on it would work well. As far as I can see, I cant see a good site like this, especially one aimed at U.K traffic. But if you know any please share. If I find a good enough one I wont bother making one myself

i have owned 2 big voyuer sites. i know a little about it. i have 3 live chat studios and over 220 employees and have experiemented since 97' with different ways to capitalize further on the resources. so I am a little qualified to talk about traffic, overhead, conversions and more importantly... the cost of having two dozen live cams streaming 24/7 to surfers who don't care and webmasters who just aren't going to be impressed.

i really respect the fact that you have a dream. but thats all it is. its all been done and it has all failed. no one that has done this is going to tell you that you stand a chance. i dont know how many sites have came and went since 97' but it has to be in the 100's from all over the world - there was a time when people were announcing new big voyeur sites every week... Latvia, Moscow, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Vegas, California Beach House etc etc etc... big houses/whore houses/apartments/saunas with tons of girls, tons of cams, tons of action etc etc etc... people still dont care and they are all gone because it is extremely expensive operate and doesn't sell well.

how are you going to support all this with your traffic only? you need to lease a location, set up 20 or so cams/computers, servers, buy video software, pay people to work etc etc etc... your overhead will be 10-20K per month before you even get started and you think you have enough traffic to make something like this work? what do you think bandwidth will cost to stream all these live cams? software?

if your site converts at 1:3000 and costs 20K USD per month to operate, do you have enough traffic?

What happened to your two big voyeur sites, did they close? Or do you still have them so I can take a look? Maybe I'll remember them. Im genuinley interested. As I say my angle is slightly different (Im not going to go into it here), but Im willing to listen to advice. Did you try and make out it was real hidden stuff, like the Princess Di Gym pictures? This is a very good site i have seen it and is one of the most voyeur looking sites i have seen out there. If you have the money to spend talk to aaron and check it out. its the only site i have seen that looks so realistic.

If it converted at that rate and cost that much, no I wouldnt have enough traffic. But Im converting much better than that already, with sites not as targeted as I would want. But like I say, you dont actually know what Im planning, its a variation on the theme.

It does well with UK traffic also.

Been rockin since 1997 with all kinds of traffic. We even set up a Japanese version of the site that did great for over 5 years until the traffic source dried up.

lots of different sub niches under voyeur, i don't see why well produced fake voyeur cam footage would not sell to a certain amount of customers as long as it was done correctly and realisticly, not like 99% of the stuff out there.

The voyeurcam craze of the early days sort of messed up the true meaning of Voyeur. ie: A bunch of girls in a house that know there are cameras on them broadcasting live is not what a true Voyeur is looking for. :2 cents:

well hidden cams are either badly faked (models staring at a camera,legs astride) or just week / off niche content - possibly because its a bit tricky to shoot something decent

Exactly. Hidden cam is just that....And it's easy to spot fake hidden cam content for those who are into it....Unless it's shot correctly which the vast majority of people have failed to do. :2 cents:

i can put the same question back to you... where are all the dozens and dozens and dozens of "hot new voyeur sites unlike anything you have ever seen before" that came and went over the last 6-7 years?

my opinion is that this type of site/content has three built in, fatal flaws...

1) the novelty wares off immediately. once people pull back the curtain and see the wizard... they generally lose interest.

2) its boring. how do you have action on all cams, all the time? thats tough. it will always be 80% cams showing nothing. its boring. really boring. so think about that for a second. imagine yourself buying a membership to a site with 50 cams... then click... wait for video to load... nothing happening.... next cam... click.... wait for video to load... nothing happening - repeat 30 more times until you realize your life is meaningless and you need therapy for spending this much time hoping to get your $24.95 worth of entertainment.

3) there are now many 1000's of live girls online at any given moment, sitting naked or mostly naked in front of a cam that will fulfill any fantasy you want.
