hehe I did apply for it actually, it's an awesome card! My friend Brad recommended it to me.

Here are the details, look at all the cool shit you get with it 1.5 aeromiles per $1 spent, plus access to the Air Canada Club Lounge at the airports.

$400/year and the finance charges are a killer. Not sure if that's worth the perks you get on the card to be honest. I bet you just got it for the Air Canada Club Lounge benefits didn't you, lol.

I wish Amex would offer US currency cards in Canada, I'm surprised they won't offer it actually.

doesn't seem like that good of a deal to me with the fees and interest charges but have fun with your new toy:)

When you consider how much money I put on my card per year it's totally worth it for the points alone. I already had the lounge benefits as I paid for a membership (which I have to transfer now to Magnus). I can't recommend that membership enough as you get free drinks and food in the lounge. Magnus and I will drink the membership fee away in 2 trips LOL! ;)

30% per annum? Holy fuckballs. What's the grace period?

slapass 05-02-2005 12:17 AM

Those lounges rock. Can you seriously drink $400 in one though?

I love my chase card. 1% cash back on all purchases with no limit. No fee and I have no idea what the interest rate is.

$400 over a few flights a year? Sure. And I'm not even a heavy drinker.
