converting VB 6.0 to VB.NET (how withotu leaving a trail?)
How can I convert a VB 6.0 project to a VB.NET project without leaving a trail for my professor to find? Oh yea. I gotta rename it too.
|
please explain more about what you're doing
|
VB.NET will convert old vb 6 projects, Just use the wizard, Once its converted you might have to tweak a tad to make it run perfect and remove the comments it adds to say its been converted.

The commented code is the only thing that shows it was once a VB 6.0file ? |
if its a complex project don't bother converting, it won't work. certain
variable types like variant, any, etc aren't used in VB.net. if its simple, yeah just use the wizard and take out the shit that's not in the vb6 version. |
like luc said if its simple go ahead if its anything complex it will crash because there are lots of variables and classes that dont work in .net good luck if you need any help contact me on icq ive converted many projects to .net
|
your professor will know, just do it right and dont risk getting caught
|
its done.
