what's your opinion on .tv? i think it's a excellent tld if they can push it more. to me the top tld's (not including ctld's) are

1) .com
2) .info
3) .tv

I think someone is making an attempt to justify their domain portfolio. A form of self assurance.

.tv domains aren't worth the money it costs to register them. Every now and then, the powers that be come out with new domains like .tv, .info, or .xxx and people run and buy them up hoping to make a killing, but they don't.

.com is and will stay the prime tld there is, followed by .net. you will need one hell of a good term for a .tv extension for people to regard it as something worth more than 2 cents.
