why hasn't anyone tried different styles of thumbs, positions, locations etc
They all look the same.
or has it been tried with bad results?

I raised the same question. Noone wants to make their TGP sites interesting. They all look like $15 templates.

i'm developing a pretty unique linklist :) tons of fucking work though!

I noticed a discussion between the pros and cons of a free site verses a tpg. Are there any free sites that also have tpg gallery? Is there such a thing as an extended or glorified tpg?

You don't want to do something entirely innovative, yet so different that the visitor would be confused.

I agree that it works, and it's a simple and straight forward design.
But with so many of them being the same I think something new, not 100% new, but a slight addon would only benefit.

thats' why i'm looking for some different style designer for my current thumb TGP and i can't get any decent reply in my thread.
Seems to me none of them needs money ... or simply can't make really good design.
