The Talladega (Alabama) track is known as "home of "the big one".
The Busch race there yesterday had a 19 car pileup.
Expect nothing less when the big boys play today.
If you're just a casual nascar watcher, this is the one to catch, it's the toughest track and always unpredictable who's going to win.
On Fox, starting in about 30 minutes, pre-race show is on now :thumbsup

I have to say the races there are awesome. Pity it is in such an obscure location. Two weekends a year Taladega is the Redneck Capital of the World. Definately a race worth attending though. Been there, done that, would do it again! :thumbsup

One of my friends has gone both times each year for 7 or 8 years. He has a group he meets up with and they set up a big party tent. This is the first one he's missing because they decided to meet up at Bristol instead. Hopefully one of these days my schedule will work out so I can go with them.
