Beer on Sunday?
 

I just went to the grocery store and thought I would get beer but nope not today, no beer selling untill 1 pm. Up in NJ I don't think they have a time you can't buy beer. Do they make you wait on Sunday where you live?

I don't drink very often...but when I travel around the US I'm often reminded of why living in Vegas is so cool.

one time when I visited Toronto - I heard that they stop selling beer/alcohol in the stores for take out @ 10pm - thats crazy wtf :(

I'm in Germany. If they didn't sell beer at any given time of any given day, there would be a MASSIVE riot. They wouldn't sell alcoholic beverages on Sunday before noon in the town I lived in when I spent my crazy drunken teenage years in the wonderful town of Plymouth, Michigan. Not that I bought alcoholic beverages in the US whilst not being 21 or anything because that's BAD. Shit, I'm still not 21. DAMN THOSE BASTARDS! Thank god for Germany's drinking age of 16!

Some gas stations sell beer 7 days a week until midnight, but you're getting 3.2% alcohol content. Booze and wine isn't sold anywhere except liquor stores 8pm m-th and 10pm fri-sat.

Here in Latvia, we had a law introduced a while ago banning alcohol sales after 10pm.

Of course, they therefore classified BEER as a FOOD STAPLE and not as an alcohol, so it could still be available 24/7.

Oh.. the comedy of living in a country full of ex-soviet drunks... :)

And I thought that seeing people carrying around and drinking from 2 liter plastic bottles of beer was odd...

in wisconsin they started selling it at noon on sundays instead of 9am.
here in hell (georgia), you can't buy alcohol at all on sundays. its like...get over yourselves already.

GA - No alcohol sales here on Sundays. We just stock up on Saturday.

I'll be 21 at the end of this year. That should fuck all potential problems of getting alcoholic beverages in the US in the ass. Until then, I'm only visiting Canada in North America.

When I was 14 I had no problem getting alcohol here. Why? Because there were no age limits :thumbsup
