Well..Tonight was one of those times.

The first image shows the date and time that this pic was taken. At 10:20pm it was pitch black on the Oregon coast. I had to guess where the huge ass rock was because I couldn't even see it in the camera viewfinder.

Nice long exposure...You can see the stars streaking in the sky.

I love this shot....But I just got home from a long ass drive and now, I'm going to bed.

Now that I've had some time to sleep and review this pic again....I'm not as impressed with it as I was before. It's pretty grainy and the depth of field is a bit off too.

Oh well, I know how to fix that the next time I want to retake it. Live and learn.

It'll always be a bit grainy at night, though. It's still a great pic and I still want the fullsized version for a desktop photo.
