experienced as far as the time frim the "free profile" to a full signup on avg?

I know alot of em after the signup send out emails saying there is new chicks in your area n shit......

What are you thoughts?

I think you're trying to fool us into thinking you're a dating webmaster so you can keep that AFF free pass :)

For me its a numbers game obviously, on average, For every 10 free joins I get, 1 signs up. As far as a time frame goes, most joins are within 20 to 30 min. of scanning the site. Once they run across that pic that looks real, and the info states that they live in the same area, thats when they want to know more. The average porn guy isnt seeking thru dating sites, like he or she would if it was hardcore. So most traffic, the is even going to put their email in, is probally truely seeking a companion. I feel that the after emails are very important to the company obviously and depending on how often and how well the emails are made, i feel its also good for the affiliate. AAC does a great job with their email program, and I have made a killing with their rev. share program and thats do to them sending the emails just to keep them interested.

The times for joins are all over the place depending upon the reason for joining.

-A guy that joins because he spent the weekend alone wanking to a woman on the web, will usually join within the first 3 days.

-A guy that joins because he had a fight with the missus is looking to see if the grass is greener and he'll join when he can figure out how to do it in the most discreet way, so he'll probably take 2-3 weeks or more.

-A guy that's looking to see what sort of women will post their naked or nearly naked pics on a dating site, needs encouragement to join. Too much free porn on the net to snag this guy early.

-A guy that's come from another dating site because he wasn't successful will usually join in the first week if he feels like he belongs to the group.

-Gays will join in the first couple of days if they think they can get lucky right away.

-Women on the other hand usually take longer but if they join even as a free member, they're serious about finding a new partner for something. When we started SexyAds I thought women wouldn't buy but I was wrong. One woman is worth about 5-10 men because women are way more active in searching than men are. One man will write to one woman and wait, one woman will write or reply to about 20 men and see which one takes the bait.

We've had members who joined when we first opened the doors at $9.95 and are still rebilling and we've had members who have taken up to a year to join as a paid member.

So all this says is that it's a crap shoot. People are different.
