Look what happened to Martha Stewart when she made a "small" lie ... apparently the rules don't apply evenly to everybody?

I hope they at least send her the bill for all the hours she wasted of police time

Georgia on the otherhand has every reason to file charges.

Actually I take that back, if a report I just read is true where her minster said she was wandering the streets and completely unaware she was the subject of 24/7 national news coverage.

I would think they could only file a civil case to recoup search costs if they could show she knew of the coverage but still stayed away.

Turn to CNN at 8pm est, their gonna have a special about it

NM Police are not charging her and the FBI link is horrid at best... she lied to her fiance and the national media blew up a non-story. She sure as hell is guilty of being stupid and leaving GA without state approval though.
