IBILL owe you MONEY??????????

iBill President Gary Spaniak told XBiz, claiming that all affiliate monies, or revshares, will be paid directly to the webmasters who maintained affiliate programs, rather than to the affiliates themselves.

?Now the webmaster is responsible for getting money to the affiliates,? he said.

So now you gotta chase he aff prog owners :Oh crap :Oh crap

Juicy D. Links 04-29-2005 04:23 PM

?It wasn?t done intentionally,? Spaniak said. ?If it was, I?d have a better story.?

this guy needs his knees broken

Manowar 04-29-2005 04:23 PM

ugh. the neverending story of ibill. will be interesting to see how this pans out

Juicy D. Links 04-29-2005 04:23 PM

?We?ve come a long way in three weeks," Spaniak said. "We want to be part of the biggest comeback in the adult Internet."

LOLLLLL that will be day

MickeyG 04-29-2005 04:39 PM

I wonder how many program owners will get paid from ibill and end up keeping the affiliate monies. My guess is quite a bit.

You are wrong sir.
Ibill handled payments as a convenience to the program owners. Your contract is with the program owners, as is Ibill's contract.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 04-29-2005 05:54 PM

No sir but I got friends that are owed hundreds of thousands.
Even some friends that are Owed by DMR.

Maureenoz 04-29-2005 05:55 PM

We haven't seen any money from iBill in a long time, so maybe this is a bullshit attempt to take the heat off iBill and put it on the program owners who don't deserve it.

I'm not saying they won't pay, but they owe so many and profess to have so little.

While iBill was never a big part of our payment processing, we'll probably hear from some of our affiliates that we're keeping their money. Bugs the crap out of me.

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 04-29-2005 06:00 PM

So much is written about sponsor shaving that I imagine some sponsors will simply pocket the cash and tell their affiliates that they never got paid from iBill, and that the affiliates are shit outta luck - while the shady sponsors pocket lots of extra green (no doubt some sponsors who screamed the loudest about iBill screwing them, will now screw their own affiliates given the current turn of events).

If any sponsors intend to pay their affiliates, post the news here so that affiliates and potential affiliates can know whom to trust (and also know which sponsors are using circumstances to scam their affiliates...again).

It's probably the whole point.. Ibill is trying to shift the heat to someone else.. They will probably pay out very little of whats owed and then tell the affilates they already paied the program owners so collect from them.

Some damn shady BS, no way in hell would I ever trust ibill again..

keyboard warrior 04-29-2005 06:32 PM

Well IBILL still has not payed the owners.

so they can wait the same as 2007 like the owners have to.

Sosa 04-29-2005 10:17 PM

such a big ole waste of shit

venus 04-29-2005 10:50 PM

Actually the program owners are responsible for paying their affiliates - what ever ibill does has no impact on responsibility - the affiliates should be getting paid no matter what - by the program owners.

I never liked Ibill even though I was getting paid by ARS back in the day. I always had a thing for Epoch and CCbill :)

TDF 04-29-2005 10:54 PM

shock and flawed campaign

StuBradley 04-29-2005 11:14 PM

First, why has iBill not put up this notice (saying that we need to collect from the program owners) on their RevShare main page?

Second, by iBill putting this money in the hands of the program owners (knowing some will not pay their affiliates) they are giving themselves a bad (okay....worse) name to the affiliates. What affiliate is going to want to promote another iBill site again? As a program owner you might begin seeing some of your money if you signed their agreement, but you are going to have a much harder time finding affiliates willing to sign up to an iBill RevShare program.

:2 cents:

Why's that? We didnt get paid for their signups, we provided access and got nothing. If you think I'm going to pay for Ibills shit you're fucking crazy.

And as far as Ibill paying us the affiliates money, I can't believe its even been brought up by them at this point when they havent paid us anything. That agreement to pay out over two years is a fucking joke, they owe us the money and the only way to get it is to waive all legal rights? Fuck that, if you signed it you're an idiot. Try sending an agreement like that to your mortgage company or any other creditor, they will laugh in your fucking face.

You're assuming that Ibill is being honest. Which makes you umm......
on another subject:
Did you know that the word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary?

SGS 04-30-2005 01:59 AM

Sounds like another huge mess in the making and more to do with shifting problems than solving them.

Serious-Partner 04-30-2005 02:01 AM

sounds like a bullshit!

Paul Markham 04-30-2005 02:34 AM

Seems to me that anyone who signs up to IBILL or anyone connected to IBILL needs their fucking head examined.

JJSLIMM 04-30-2005 02:49 AM

it's all silly I tell ya.... IBILL = lost revenue :(

Drake 04-30-2005 03:31 AM

The sordid saga continues

Legally, you ARE responsible. If you don't pay, your affiliates can sue you -- and win. :2 cents:
