Paycounter or Sextracker...which one is most accurate?
 

my sex tracker says I had 424 uniques today and my paycounter (on the very same page) says I had 1,139.

which one has a reputation for being most accurate?

what do your serverstats say??
where are the counters on your page? one at the top.. one at the bottom???

there can be 100s of reasons..
but i'd give my vote to sextracker...

i dont have stats cuz the site doesnt get enough traffic yet for the admin to make them.

Why would the one that's paying you want to inflate your count????

I use paycounter, simply because the interface is simple, and you can have several counters on the same account, now, I've used both of them and sexlist and a few server stats proggies...

If you want accuracy, download the logs and just analyze them with a good logger...

If you need a good reference, go with paycounter (not for what they pay, I have never received any checks) easy to use and understand, and you can track several projects from the same page...

if you need standards (standardize trading) use sextracker, many big sites use it to compare with their server logs/script logs...

Oh and by the way if anyoone is stupid enough to think burying your counter on the bottem of a page will give you so much inacurate results you are a fool. Dah why do they want their counter at the top? they want the hits from it. little bit differnce it will matter has will in no way efect what your using it for in the first place. Of course your logs on your host are much better and you don't nned a counter but for free site users put the thing at the bottom thelittle effect it will have in results will still give you the stats you need....

Are you aware that a counter can only count a hit when the browser sends the request to load the image? Since a browser on average can only download 8 images at once.. If your counter is burried at the bottom of a page, below say a TGP gallery that contains 15 images... and another 5 advertising buttons... and maybe 2 or 3 TGP recip buttons... guess what, that counter won't load NEARLY as frequently as it would if it were in the top 8 images on the page. Especially on a slow international connection!

The SexTracker counter (especially the single page counter) is more particular about how you set it up than most counters, because we want to be sure that the ranks are accurate. So a single page counter will ONLY count hits from the page you told us you are tracking.
