Parents in this world have no Clue!
" Marcy's 13-year-old daughter has a knack for switching computer screens or shutting the laptop when mom walks in the room. Like in many families, the two often argue about whether mom has the right to see what her daughter is doing online. The conversation is never really resolved. "
"The girls are all made up to look seductive....Parents have no clue this is going on," she said. "You think your kid is safe because they are in your house in their own bedroom. Who can hurt them when you are guarding the front door? But (the Internet) is a bigger opening than the front door." Check out the rest of the article here FUCKING parents need to take care of thier children, and be invloved in their lives. And what the fuck is this that the kid will not tell mom what she is doing on the net, and mom just lets it go. |
wow. scary to think that parents are either too blind to see what their kids are doing or too fuckin dumb to notice. either way, parents like that end up getting killed by one of their kids later on down the line anyways, so it'll work out for societys benefit.

I am just amazed that the daughter will tell her mom that it is none of her business what she is doing on the web, and mom lets it go. If my kid said that to me, I would knock his teeth down his throat!
That kid is 13! |

parents don't beat their kids nearly enough now a days. |
my kid is only 7 and whenever he's on the net we do it together on my laptop, if he got to 13 and thought he could tell me it was none of my business what he was up to - that plug would be pulled out of the wall so fast he'd be spinning.

Never let your kids have their own comp in thier own room...ALWAYS put the family comp in a common area...

Good advice.

some dumb replies in here
kids who are 13 are not really kids anymore or they will do what they do in the house, or you will look over their shoulder and make it impossible for them to do what they do, and they will take their shit elsewhere either way , 13 year olds nowadays, are not lil babies , they think about sex quite often and want to experiment with drugs and stuff you can ban all those things and be very strict , but that has never helped ,so you are fucked, parents should lighten up and put more trust in their kids, if a kid thinks you dont trust him he wont respect you |

My kids will let me know what they are doing or they won't do it simple as that

these sound like the words of an expierienced pedarist. |
It's funny that this came up because I was talking with my mom yesterday about my little sister being on myspace along with most of her school. My parents regulate what she puts on her page at 16 years old and this girl in the article is only 13. We all know a 13 year old didn't buy their own computer or pay for the internet bill each month... the parents gave the privelege to the child and can take it away just as easy. There were 4 18 year old boys at my sisters school last week that lured in another 16 year old girl from a nearby high school through myspace and all 4 of the boys raped her. This may have been prevented if the parents were a little bit more involved and aware of what was going on.

OMG! that's scary, how come that 13 yr old kid already got the guts to deny whats going on with her net activities, if she's my daughter...gonna hit his butt with my belt, 100 x :)
