Tech: SSL still valid if you migrate...

I am moving a shopping site from one of my servers to another one. So I will be changing IP address along with NS servers.

The whole shop is on a SSL, not just the payment page ( CubeCart) .

Is the SSL certificate still valid? I am under the impression that it is linked to an IP address as well as the domain name. Or do I have to regenerate a new certificate...

????

Its linked to your domain so you should be fine.

You will need the key files and whatnot, SSL must be on a single ip but can be changed no problems. If you lose the CSR then you might be SOL and have to repay to have it done again, although most places offer a 1 time change if CSR is lost.

You can't have multiple SSL hosts on a single IP address, but I see no reason why you couldn't have multiple IP addresses for a single SSL host.
