for our kids, i feel bad how close they get to interact with animals.
they are supposed to be educational, right?

I think its a task of the parents to keep the kids safe too..some animals dont do any harm if you treat them nice. Now kids need to learn to treat them nice, which is the task of their parents.

It is very scary

that's the thing, but from the pictures above, i don't see any parents around to protect them. ived seen domesticated pets gone wild.

before you know it, some religious freak will complain and you will have to look at animals through black window shades or be verified if you're an adult at the ticket counter.

I dunno where you got the pics but maybe it was the parent who made the pic?

Btw i dont think the bear on the first pic can reach the kid or visa versa...

I don't see anything wrong here. what do the kids need to be protected from? Looks to me in the last picture the poor pony needs a little help.

Those pics are classic.

Last time I went to a zoo, it was the lincoln park (?) zoo in Chicago...it's totally free and so fucking completely amazing...something similar happened, but it didn't have to do with animals fucking....a hippo was swimming around in a tank in front of a bunch of 10 year old kids, then proceeded to press it's ass against the window and take a huge yellow shit. You should have heard those kids screaming and laughing :1orglaugh

If you're ever in Chicago, check out the zoo there...it's one of the few free ones left in the country.
