even if just going to post office to pick up letter

which I think is good idea. U gotta pick up $$.. show id to make sure really is you

Its definitely a scam of some sort, ive had the same happen to me, every time i list a mobile phone on ebay i get 3 or 4 people contacting me saying to end the auction early and they can only pay via western union but they offer to pay a lot of money, but they need the mobile sent to Nigeria, which obviously screams "SCAM"...

That is obviously a scam...
They probably use stolen CC numbers to pay via bidpay.

I am totally sick of scammers, too.

The last two times I've bought of eBay i've been scammed, or had someone try to scam me.

- I had someone flog me off a fake fragrance, and ebay shrug at me over it.

- Just today, I had ordered a camera through someone on ebay. 100% feedback with over 60 transactions. All emails that were generated came through 'valid' email addresses. I'd triggered the payment, when suddenly I got an email from ebay saying that the user may not be who they said they were, and if I'd paid them, I should request my money back.

I managed to put a hold on the cash (minus the $180 to send it - fuckers) - but it was close. I'm a skeptical bastard - and I was almost taken. 'Ordinary' users would have been totally fucked.

Seriously, it shits me that these days you can't do something simple like buy something without some fuckhead trying to scam you out of your hard earned cash.

SleazyDream 04-28-2005 09:24 AM

you're sooo silly

Manowar 04-28-2005 09:25 AM

tungsten 04-28-2005 09:29 AM
